Scheduling Questions

How do I book a photo session?

You may use this link, booking, to secure your date. I only schedule sessions during the weekends. So, if you have a date in mind grab it :)

Is there a session fee at the time of booking?

Yes, there is a 50% non-refundable retainer fee at the time of booking to secure your date.

What if I am unable to shoot during the times available?

Through the years, I’ve learned the ideal lighting conditions, for portraits, are early morning, before 10 am, and/or late afternoon, after 4 pm. Of course, this depends on the time of year. Trust me you will love your portraits :)

What happens after I book a photo session?

You will receive a confirmation email and I will contact you via email to schedule our phone consultation. This is usually a brief introductory call to go over the session you booked. Depending on the type of session, we may go through a more thorough call at a later date.

Do I choose the location?

I will suggest several locations depending on the type of session. If there is a location, you would like to shoot, we can shoot there but keep in mind, if additional costs or permits are needed, this will be your responsibility.

What happens if inclement weather or sickness occurs?

For inclement weather and sickness, we will make the decision to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. We will decide on a make-up date.

Preparing for Your Session

What should I wear to my session?

We will discuss in detail your wardrobe prior to the day of your session. It’s important to have your wardrobe finalized at least 1 week before the session date. You want to be comfortable and look your best!!! I will provide a Pinterest board for style inspiration.

Should I wear make-up for my session?

I strongly suggest wearing make-up. I will recommend a make-up artist that I know provides excellent service. Wearing make-up gives the portraits a more polished and cohesive look.

Do I need to bring props?

I LOVE props!!! Yes, bring all the props :) Once we discuss your session, we will strategize to make your session a representation of your personality.

May I use this dress for all types of sessions?

This dress is specifically for maternity, high school/college grads, personal celebrations (birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, just because :)

Does this dress come in different colors and sizes?

There are two dresses available, red and black. The size is one size fits most. If you are concerned about the fit, we can definitely schedule a fitting after you book the session.

How is the dress cleaned?

The dress is dry cleaned and sanitized after each use. I am very cautious about following Covid-19 rules and protocols.

Are there undergarments needed for the dress?

I will provide “boob tape” to assist in lifting. The client MUST wear biking shorts or yoga shorts under the garment.

Do I need to know how to model?

No…I will guide you into different positions. It helps to review the Pinterest board I provide to have an idea of poses.

I like to capture in-the-moment (candid) portraits as well as traditional poses.

After Your Session

When should I expect my portraits?

After your session, I carefully go through all the portraits and deliver to you the top images in a proof gallery link sent via email. These images will be lightly edited. From this proof gallery, you will favorite your images. The quicker you favorite your images and invoice paid (if applicable), the sooner you will receive your final gallery. This typically takes about 7 business days.

Do you provide raw unedited files?

No. But they can be purchased at my discretion.

Do you provide skin retouching and photo editing?

Yes, I perform skin retouching to the majority of my photos. If the client requests more advanced photo editing such as compositing, this may be done at an additional cost.

Do you provide prints?

Yes, prints and print products are available for purchase.
